Here we are uploading ADS, BSc, and BS Physics Thermodynamics and Statistical Mechanics notes. These notes are for the students of Sargodha University (UOS), Punjab University (PU), Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), GCU Lahore, GCU Faisalabad, and all other universities of Pakistan.

The term thermodynamics was first used by the British mathematician and physicist (William Tomson (Lord Kelvin) in his paper "On the Dynamical Theory of Heat". It is the branch of physics. It deals with the relationships between heat and other forms of energy.


The branch of physics that combines the principles and procedures of statistics with the laws of both classical and quantum mechanics, particularly with respect to the field of thermodynamics is called STATISTICAL MECHANICS.

These notes are according to the syllabus prescribed by all the universities of Pakistan. Chapter-wise Thermodynamics and "Statistical Mechanics Notes" are given below. You can download these notes in PDF format by clicking on the link for free.
